Optimal Solutions Group (Optimal) submitted its framework for assessing mobile apps in Opioid Treatment Programs. This framework, funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Substance and Mental Health Services Administration, was the result of consulting with experts, scanning current technologies and literature while also taking in consideration user privacy, security, economic and behavioral concerns. Optimal’s goal is that organizations developing technological solutions will have a common foundation to start with in building out mobile apps.
