Maryland SAFE Center Visits Optimal

Laura Ardito is the Deputy Director of the University of Maryland SAFE Center For Human Trafficking Survivors. She has worked on human trafficking issues for over a decade from a direct services, programmatic, and policy perspective.

The University of Maryland Support, Advocacy, Freedom, and Empowerment (SAFE) Center for Human Trafficking Survivors is a comprehensive direct services, research, and advocacy center on human trafficking. It is an initiative of the University of Maryland, College Park, and the University of Maryland, Baltimore through their strategic partnership, MPowering the State.

Optimal staffers initiated a campaign this fall to support the SAFE Center. Laura Ardito receives Optimal’s first contributions.
