Optimal Receives Program Support Center IDIQ Task Order Contract from DHHS

Optimal Solutions Group, LLC (Optimal) has received designation as a contractor for the Program Support Center (PSC) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quality (IDIQ) Task Order contract to provide services to the Department of Health and Human Services and other agencies. Services contemplated under this contract are to include policy assessments/analysis, program assessments, evaluation design studies and data collection, performance measurements, technical assistance/expertise, data analysis and auxiliary/support services that may be needed to complete a particular project. This PSC IDIQ designation is a 5-year award viable until January 1, 2014.

Report Evaluating Charter Schools Impacts Released by the Dept of Education

The National Center for Educational Evaluation (NCEE) and Regional Assistance recently released “The Evaluation of Charter School Impacts” final report which was funded by the Institute of Education Sciences (IES). In collaboration with Mathematica, Optimal Solutions Group, LLC (Optimal) conducted the first large-scale randomized trial on the effectiveness of charter schools in multiple states and economics settings. Previous studies on charter schools focused primarily on the impact of test scores and offered minimal evidence on impacts on other student outcomes. » Read more
